GAYLORD, MI - Five Wildcats earned medals at the Northern Michigan Championships on Saturday at Michaywe Pines Golf Course.  Jacob Kochanski (22nd), Lucas Manning (22nd), Hunter Hitzelberger, Kaylee Rondeau (33rd), and Molly Dickinson (46th) earned medals with top 46 place performances out of more than 800 runners.  Nineteen Wildcats ran new Personal Records and five ran career-best records during the event.

GAYLORD, MI - Lucas Manning finished 11th overall at the Big North Conference Championships, earning him 2nd team all-BNC.  Manning was the only Wildcat to make all-conference, but 10 other runners recorded season-best times.  Joining Manning in running their season-best times were Hunter Hitzelberger, Nehemiah Rao, Eli Rondeau, Cameron Young, Tyler Van Cleave, Kaylee Rondeau, Ava Shriner, and Veronica Zaborney. Ben Poli recorded a career-best time of 19:34.80 in finishing 22nd.  Hitzelberger (20th), Elijah Allen (22nd), Jacob Kochanski (28th); Blake Macdonald (32nd), Matthew Guest (34th), and Westen Domke (37th) were other Wildcat finishers.

Molly Dickinson led Alpena’s female varsity runners with a 27th place finish in running her race in 21:29.26. Kaylee Rondeau (28th), Alexis Reynolds (34th), Grace Mitchell (36th), Tiff

BAY COUNTY, MI - The Alpena Cross Country teams had 21 athletes medal raced at Delta College Saturday in the Al Kayner Invitational. There were 26 high school teams and over 600 high school racers participated in the event.  Sophomore Madi Szymanski was awarded the Varsity Runner Up Division 1/2 trophy,
